Photographing mamas and their babies isn’t just my job – it’s my own experience.
As a mom of two quickly-growing boys, I know how important it is to capture the moments while you're still in them. Babies grow up in the blink of an eye—they take their first steps, find their voices, and before you know it, life is racing forward.
It’s not always easy to stay present while also trying to capture every fleeting moment. I want you to have a way to look back and see your babies growing into the little people they’re becoming—and to make sure you are in those memories, too.
Whether your family is camera-ready or a little hesitant about stepping in front of the lens, I’m here to capture the beauty in your wonderfully wild journey.

the process
I. Session Prep
After booking, you’ll receive my MZP Session Prep Guide with all the tips for preparing your family and little ones.
You’ll also complete a short questionnaire so we can tailor your session to feel personal and meaningful to you!
II. custom styling
Every session includes styling guidance, access to my client closet for moms (even a custom style board if you need). I'll also coordinate professional hair and makeup for you to look and feel your best!
III. session day
On session day, we keep things natural, relaxed, and fun. I’ll gently guide you through prompts that encourage genuine connection so nothing feels stiff or overly posed. The goal is simple — real moments, real emotion, and photos that feel like your family.
IV. gallery delivery
After your session, you’ll receive a proof gallery where you’ll select your favorite images.
Then, I’ll carefully hand-edit each image so your final gallery reflects the moments you loved most. From there, you can choose print products — creating an end result you’ll truly be obsessed with.

Individual portrait sessions are available for every stage of your family’s journey - whether you're celebrating motherhood during maternity or capturing the beauty of your family year after year.
I want to make this experience as easy as possible for you. If your little one isn’t too excited about photos—don’t worry, I get it (as a mom of two wild boys, I’ve been there!). I’ll guide your family in a way that feels natural, capturing genuine, love-filled moments. It’ll be fun, stress-free, and a memory you’ll cherish forever!
I’m here to guide you every step of the way - from choosing outfits and locations to posing and ensuring your photos become more than just images on your camera roll.
Portrait Sessions begin at $650.
Additional digital images, albums, and print products can be purchased at additional cost.
THe Client Closet
Making the process easier, in every way
All portrait sessions booked gain access to The Client Closet, where you can choose from multiple dresses of different colors and styles all specifically curated to flatter and accentuate your body through every season of motherhood.
Once you've chosen your dress, I'll create a custom family style board to help ease the stress of coordinating the rest of the family!

I offer prints, albums, frames, and more so that you can enjoy seeing your images day after day. Your images are an investment and deserve to be printed in the highest quality so they don't just collect digital dust on your phone's camera roll!
Albums are my favorite print product!
The best part? I take care of designing and ordering your album so that it is one less thing on your to-do list!
I recommend scheduling your session two to three months in advance. This gives you access to more availability on my calendar and gives us plenty to time to prepare for your session.
The more we can prepare, the better your session will go!
WHEN SHOULD I SCHEDULE MY SESSION?
I know that figuring out everyone's outfits can be so daunting, so I have taken the guess work out of it for you!
I'll create a custom style board for your family based on your preferences even including links for you to shop!
All full portraits sessions also include free access to my client closet for mama, so you won't even have to shop for a dress!
WHAT DO I WEAR?
Your session is priced based on the number of images, not the number of people! There's no need to exclude grandma and grandpa if they want to join!
Extended family sessions are priced the same as regular full portrait sessions! Keep in mind, you'll likely want the full gallery upgrade!
How many people are included in our session?
Yes! There are so many factors to consider when choosing an in-home, studio, or outdoor session.
In-home and studio sessions allow us to shoot earlier in the day when the light is bright. Outdoor sessions are shot about an hour and a half before sunset to give that beautiful golden glow!
If your home does not have ample natural light, and you still want a daytime session, a studio session may be for. you. My studio is located in Kinston, NC. Your photos will be taken on a timeless white backdrop.
do you offer studio or in-home sessions?
I primarily serve Kinston, NC and the surrounding areas. However, I do offer travel sessions from Raleigh to the coast! This pricing is for locations within 50 miles of Kinston. A travel fee of $1 per mile will be added for sessions between 50-100+ miles from Kinston, NC.
do you travel?
I got you, mama! I have a mini-session type of husband and two WILD toddler boys!
It's all about organized chaos! If you're looking for photos where everyone is perfectly smiling at the camera in every single one, another photographer may better suit your style.
However, if you're looking for fun photos that you can FEEL...then you're in the right place! We'll absolutely get good smiling photos too, but we will also run, play, and laugh to make for an enjoyable time together!
